 S.J. Jung announced his campaign volunteers amassed a total of 3,379 signatures to be placed on the ballot in the upcoming NY State Senate primary where he'll run against incumbant Toby Ann Stavisky for the Democratic position. Jung, a long time political activist lost a previous primary in 2009 for the 20th District City Council seat.

Jung will run against fellow democrat and seven term incumbent State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky for the 16th district state senate seat. Jung held a previously unsuccessful primary campaign for the 20th district city council seat in 2009.
